Ban Hieu Garden Lodge

Les-Bains-de-Hieu is truly off the beaten track. The eco-lodge doesn’t have a website and almost impossible to find or book. Yet when you arrive at this secret paradise, you will be rewarded with a truly authentic vietnamese experience. The lodge property is located in the heart of the Pu Luong Nature Reserve and encircled by 2 waterfalls, cascading down each side. Enjoy luxury in remote hills, with 3 traditional bungalows – the Lake, Waterfall, and Garden, each with private verandas. The open air lounge area is connected to the three bungalows via a wooden walkway and perfect for relaxing and meeting other travellers. The lodge is operated by a local family with love and hospitality.

Enjoy a refreshing swim in the cascades and natural pools of the waterfalls. Discover the daily life of White Thai, the people who live in this Nature Reserve. Get to know the area by hiking, cycling or horseback riding. The horses will be available at the lodge for your use. Waterfalls, rice fields, farms, and unspoiled jungle.

GETTING THERE

You will be picked up in a car from Hanoi and drive south-west for 4 hours. Enjoy the scenery of limestone mountains and picture-worthy hills. The eco-lodge is located in the village called Ban Hieu in the Pu Luong Nature Reserve. It is only accessible by foot or motorbike, so the remaining distance will be walked or ridden through rice fields and local villages.
